ArtoonsInn Geeks Room has signed up 6 new clients today. Although we have much better sign-up records, this day is special because– all 6 of them have come to us not after seeing an expensive ad of ours but just by word of mouth –from our existing clients.
Reminds me of the time when I hired my first team member back in 2020 for ArtoonsInn Geeks Room, we didn’t talk about the future of our company or how to upsell our services –but how to keep those few clients we had happy, and we have been doing the same ever since.
I didn’t celebrate today with a cake or anything, but I have decided on something today, something I used to imagine back in school, back in college, back in time that –one day when I am making good money for myself, I’ll give a part of my income to the needy. A few weeks ago, I was reading about something called Zakat (2:110, Qur’an) and I couldn’t stop thinking about it since then. Today being a special day, I have decided to start giving away 2.5% of my annual earnings to the needy. I’ll do it every year in the month of April and that too directly into the hands of the needy.
